We are happy to announce that (and) After is released as of today! We hope to see many of you enjoying the game, as short as it may be. Thanks to all those who helped produce the game; Barbara Halliday, Drew Hixson, Skyler Lowe, Payton Lowe, all deserve credit for either giving input, or play testing.
Thank you for sticking along for the ride, and we hope to see you in the next one!
As of right now, the games release date has been moved to March 30th. The set backs are rather numerous and we would like to apologize for any confusing nature in why the game has not been released yet. Even via demo. The demo may be released at a sooner date. However, all hope should be placed in the game being released fully on March 30th. If we do not make this deadline we will release the game on Christmas this year, regardless of it's state at that time.
Thank you for your patience.
In other words, the game now has animations that show just about everything you do in full. The art is really coming together as a world rather than a piece of construction paper. A lot has been tweaked, such as the player movement. We've recently made a setting where you can simply push the joystick upwards to jump. This makes wall jumping much easier and feels more like a fluid motion rather than a combo you have to complete. Now don't think that this means that you won't be needing to understand how to wall jump, it's still something that has to be mastered. It's only easier now. The way you control your character is becoming really fun and I'm sure any one playing the game will agree.
We need play testers. So if you'd like to test the game and send us a report on your experience, simply contact us and we will do our best to get you a demo copy of the game.
Thanks for reading and happy new years.
The game is coming along well. I'm about ready to be finished with it. It's release date is December 24th. If there are any delays I'll let you know. Don't forget that this game will be available for free here. That's if you get it the within a week of release. Then we will work on moving onto platforms (ex. Steam, IndieGameStand).
